Alright, I’m going to have to join the ranks of twitter users and say that I like twitter. I’m actually pretty shocked because I didn’t think I would enjoy keeping it up to date. However, its nice to use to keep tabs on my friends, co-workers, and even respected programmers in fields I study/work in.
The secret to twitter, I believe, is that it is very opt-in. You choose how much you want to do it. I was worried I would feel forced to keep it up-to-date, but it isn’t that hard. I only “tweet” semi-big things that I do, things that are interesting and someone might be interested in, but doesn’t warrant a blog post. This way I can help people find what I find on the net easily and without any hassle.
I usually update Tweets either trough TXT messaging or Twitteroo. Its easy, fun, and actually worth while.
