Hi, I’m Justin Carmony. I am a professional web designer and software engineer who specializes in LAMP and Microsoft solutions. In my off time I enjoy writing piano music and reading. I’m married to my wonerful wife Joanna where we live in our little house in Ogden, Utah.

Professional Work

I’ve been a software engineer with an empasis on web development for the last 6 years. I started off with PHP / MySQL solutions, which is still my favorite web development platform. In 2006 I started working for a Microsoft shop “Ambient Partners LLC.” I helped engineer and develop software for DVD Rental Kiosks for several companies. After helping Ambient create a powerful solution for DVD kiosks and Ambient was bought by NCR, I left to go into business with my father Kevin Carmony on the website Dating DNA.

Over the last year I’ve been focused on “Web 2.0″ techniques. While I hate the term and marketing buzz around it, I like the advacements being made in web development. I feel like the platform is evolving into a powerful medium for delevering content to end-users.
